Joan Strunk, Master Photographer, GFD, GSA, FDPE

Celebrated children's photographer, Joan Strunk, affectionately known as "Miss Joan", has been creating exquisite portraits of babies, children and families for over 30 years. Creating beautiful artistic portraits with a personal touch is what separates Joan’s work from others. Every image created is an extension of her love of children and for her art.

We invite you to come experience her relaxed creative style and watch your child's imagination take flight. Her residential studio, located in Flowery Branch, Ga., is situated on over three lavishly landscaped acres. Wander through the beautiful gardens and discover surprises around every corner. Stroll down paths that lead to a lovely gazebo, a unique stone bridge where trolls aren't allowed, or "mosey" on down to the barn, just right for your little cowboy! During her distinguished career, Joan has received numerous honors and awards for her artistic images including two highly coveted Kodak Gallery Awards. During the early years she owned a studio in Key West, Florida, and later became only the fourth woman in history to earn the prestigious Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence. In 1999, she attained the pinnacle for professional photographers, the Master of Photography Degree, awarded by the Professional Photographers of America. As a member of the Ga. Professional Photographers Association, she has earned the Ga. Fellowship Degree as well as the Ga. Service Degree.

In addition to fine portraits, the studio also offers an extensive line of beautiful frames and mats to compliment each work of art.
